Photo Gallery: Other Give-A-Show Type Products!

There have been other companies aside from Kenner and Chad Valley who produced a product like the Give-A-Show Projector!

Like Fortuna's product here... I have no idea how many versions they sold, but this one was from the 1960s. Unfortunately, the photo is so small, I'm not able to tell what it was called!

This item from an unknown manufacturer, looks like a cross between a View-Master Projector and a Give-A-Show projector! It could date from the 1950s, but I'm not sure.

Sawyers produced two different kinds of items under the "Tru-Vue" brand... aside from the "Tru-Vue Theater" seen here, they also had a View-Master/See-A-Show type of product.

It's entirely possible that the Tru-Vue license with Disney is the main reason Kenner never did any Disney Give-A-Show product!

Of course, a big difference between the Tru-Vue Theatre and the Give-A-Show Projector was that the Tru-Vue was plugged in, and not battery powered!

Here's a late 1980s knockoff of the Give-A-Show Projector, manufactured in the UK, for which I thank Lefty for the tip!

Here's one of the slides from that set... interestingly, the manufacturer went to the old-style frames, like the 1960s Give-A-Show!

The "Pix A-Go-Go" may be completely unrelated to the Give-A-Show Projector, but I'm including this to be complete!

It certainly looks like it's supposed to be similar, eh?

I know there were other projector systems made to compete with the Give-A-Show, but I don't have photos of them... but once I have another batch, I'll post them here!
